Forres

Forres Community Fire Station is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service station situated in Moray. The station has two bays and operates on a retained duty basis.

Forres has Level 2 Swift Water Rescue, also known as Flood First Responder capabilities, allowing trained personnel to enter and wade through shallow or standing water using wading poles. However, they are not permitted to swim or enter deep or fast-flowing water. This capability is primarily used for flooding incidents and low-risk water rescues. Flood First Responders receive dedicated PPE, equipment, and training to support operations in response to the increasing risk of flooding.
