WX54VWH

Prime Mover

DESCRIPTION

WX54 VWH is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service prime mover, built by Multi Lift on a MAN TGA chassis. The vehicle utilises a hooklift system to equip one of the two specialized modules stationed at Elgin Fire Station: High Volume Pump Unit (R01W1) and Hose Layer Unit (R01W2). These modules are designed for large-scale incidents requiring large amounts of water across a large distance.

The vehicle and it's modules were provided by the Scottish Government under National Fire Resilience. The vehicle is stationed at Elgin Fire Station, where it operates on a wholetime duty basis. When mobilised, the first-out pump is mobilised alongside it.
