DESCRIPTION
SV56 BFK is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service Incident Support Unit, now primarily used for driver training or as a maintenance spare when the region's Major Incident Unit (SV53 CNO) is unavailable. Despite its secondary role, this vehicle plays a vital part in ensuring operational readiness by providing a backup resource during maintenance or unexpected downtime of frontline appliances.
The appliance is generally stationed at the North Asset Resource Centre (ARC) or the training estate in Portlethen.
