DESCRIPTION
SV54 DWZ is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service prime mover, built by Multi Lift on a Scania 94D-230 chassis. The vehicle utilises a hooklift system to equip a welfare module (R47S6), designed to provide essential support and comfort to firefighters during prolonged operations. The welfare module is equipped with toilets and a variety of refreshments.
Stationed at Huntly Fire Station, the vehicle operates on a retained duty basis.
History
(954) 2005: Appliance is newly allocated to Stonehaven fire station.
(974) 2006: Appliance is re-allocated to Altens fire station.
(374) 2010: Appliance is re-allocated to Elgin fire station.
(R01T1) 2016: Following the 2013 amalgamation of all eight Scottish fire and rescue services the appliance callsign is updated to a national standard.
(R47T6) 2024: Appliance is re-allocated to Huntly fire station.
