Water Ladder

DESCRIPTION

SV53 AUN is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service water ladder, built by EmergencyOne on a MAN L2000 chassis. After its service in active firefighting, the vehicle was repurposed to support training and community engagement initiatives. It is now used for Fireskills, a program designed to involve young volunteers in fire service training.


The vehicle is kept at Elgin Fire Station.

History

(501) 2004: Appliance is newly allocated to Portsoy fire station.


(R24P6) 2016: Following the 2013 amalgamation of all eight Scottish fire and rescue services the appliance callsign is updated to a national standard.


(N/A) 2023: Appliance is re-allocated to fireskills at Elgin Fire Station.
