Rescue Pump
DESCRIPTION
SV12 AZB is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service rescue pump, built by EmergencyOne on a Scania P280 chassis. Designed for versatility, the appliance is equipped to handle a wide range of incidents, including fires, road traffic collisions, and rescues. Stationed at Fraserburgh Fire Station, the appliance is the first-out pump and operates on a retained-duty basis.
Given Fraserburgh Fire Station’s Level 2 water rescue capabilities, the appliance is also equipped with extra equipment for water rescues and flooding incidents.
History
(961) 2012: Appliance is newly allocated to Central fire station as one of the first two pumps to have Scottish Fire and Rescue markings, they also have a saltire on the front of the pump to celebrate the upcoming 2013 merger.
(961) 2012: Saltire is removed from pump after complaints of it being offensive.
(751) 2015: Appliance is re-allocated to Inverurie fire station.
(R32P6) 2016: Following the 2013 amalgamation of all eight Scottish fire and rescue services the appliance callsign is updated to a national standard.
(R27P6) 2020: Appliance is re-allocated to Fraserburgh fire station.
