Incident Support Vehicle
DESCRIPTION
SV08 HBN is a former Grampian Fire and Rescue Service Incident Support Vehicle (ISV), built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. This specialized vehicle is designed to provide critical support during major incidents, carrying 30 additional breathing apparatus (BA) cylinders.
In addition to the BA cylinders, the vehicle is equipped with a range of general support equipment for firefighting and rescue operations. It also includes decontamination equipment, enabling it to assist in small-scale decontamination procedures when needed.
Stationed at Peterhead Fire Station, the vehicle is operated on a retained-duty basis. In certain circumstances, the vehicle can also be staffed by the station's wholetime crews.
